What is your philosophy & style? My goal at every wedding is to capture the events, people, and details that make this wedding uniquely yours. In an unobtrusive manner I am always moving and looking for the action as well as the reaction. While portraits are important, I want you to spend the day with the people you invited to share the day with you. Group photographs are planned to not interrupt the flow of your day.
How many proofs can we expect? With full day coverage we typically present 600-900 images. Half day coverage averages 300-400 images.
Will you accept a list of requested photographs? I am happy to have a list of family and friend group photographs important to you. To make the list most useful, please include the persons name and relationship. If you do not have a list that is fine too. We are experienced and will discuss all of the options with you before the wedding day.
Will you be able to stay longer if we need you? Yes. When you reserve your wedding date you reserve the entire day. We can start and end whenever you wish.
Can we go to a few other locations? Absolutely! I encourage you to consider a stop even if it is for 1 photo. I love variety in wedding images and you will too. There is no additional fee for multiple locations.
Can family and friends order wedding images online? Your images will be posted to a password protected site for 6 months. From this site you can view all the wedding images in color, black & white, or sepia, and place an order to be shipped directly to them. If you have chosen coverage with a wedding album we will even use this site for the layout presentation.
How long after the wedding are the images ready? Your online gallery is ready in 3-4 weeks. Other proof products are ready in 4-5 weeks.
How does the wedding album design process work? You may submit your image choices to us however you are most comfortable. The easiest way is by submitting them as an order via your online gallery and dropping us an email letting us know these are your album choices. I then personally begin the layout process and present this to you online for your approval. With this online album designer you are able to make any changes necessary. Once the album is approved we will begin preparing each image for printing
What are your wedding rates? Please contact us for current rates. Coverage can be customized to fit your individual needs. Discounts are available for some dates.
Are you available for destination weddings? I enjoy travelling and welcome the opportunity to join you anywhere. Travel expenses are reimbursed at cost.
What type of equipment do you use and do you have backup? We use professional Canon digital cameras. Absolutely, we have backup for everything.
Do you work with an assistant at weddings? My wife Sharon joins me at most weddings as a second photographer and when needed my assistant.
How do we reserve you for our wedding date? A $500 deposit and signed photography agreement will reserve your date.
How long before the wedding do we need to reserve you as our photographer? Generally clients book about 9-12 months before the wedding date but do not hesitate to call and check our availability on short notice.
